HEALTH AND HEALING FOR EVERYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY
OUR DEEPEST WISH...

That all people living in our community benefit from the many programs Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care has to offer.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP...

Insurance reimbursements do not fully cover the expenses required to care for a patient who has a life limiting illness. At Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care, we rely on donations to make up the shortfall.

WHO NEEDS YOUR HELP...

At Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care, we provide services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

WHY WE CARE...

End of life care demands a unique kind of caring. Family and friends need special care for their broken hearts after a patient dies. Our staff at Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care are the experts in providing individualized services to everyone in our community.

WE KNOW YOU CARE TOO!

Please help us by becoming a Hospice Hero!

Make a huge difference at a crucial time

End of life care demands a unique kind of caring. People face issues and circumstances they have never before faced when given a life limiting  diagnosis. The team at Southern Tier Hospice & Palliative Care helps patients and their loved ones maintain autonomy to be sure that they fully live every day they have.

Our staff of Nurses, Social Workers, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Counselors, plus our volunteers, are dedicated to provide exemplary and compassionate care to those on Hospice and their families.

At Southern Tier Hospice & Palliative Care, we stand by our mission to provide services to families regardless of their ability to pay.

Why we need your help

We are looking for 100 people to donate $1,000 each. Your donation will support the vital programs Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care offers but for which there is no reimbursement.

Bereavement Services - There is a great need  in our community for the bereavement counseling that we offer to children and adults.

  • Good Grief Camps for children
  • Support groups for adults and teens
  • Grief Resource Program in schools
  • Community Education and Grief Library

Palliative Care - Many families would benefit greatly from receiving assistance with coping with advanced diseases but do not qualify for Hospice.  Our Palliative Care Team can step in and offer support and guidance, as well as our specialized medical consultation.

Pet Support - Our pets often hold a very important place in our families and in our hearts.  When a family is under stress, needs arise concerning the four-footed members as well.  We are ready to help with those issues, whether it be pet care, short-term fostering, long-term placement or other needs.

Unique Needs - Some families have needs that are not medical. Some basics such as food, gas and clothing can provide great comfort.  Giving unrestricted funds would allow our staff to meet the unique needs of those families.
