Honoring at the Holidays: Ways to Remember
Looking for an opportunity to honor the memory of your loved one? Join us Thursday, December 15 at Hands On Glass in Corning from 11:00am-1:00pm to make a glass ornament in honor of your deceased loved one. This holiday season, we would like to thank each and every patient, family, volunteer, supporter, staff member, area hospital, nursing home, service organization, durable medical equipment company, pharmacy, funeral home and the entire community for believing in the mission of hospice and supporting our work.
On Thursday, November 10th, Congressman Tom Reed announced he will submit the Hospice Evaluation and Legitimate Payment (HELP Hospice) Act to ensure that hospices can continue to offer high quality patient care. “It is critical that access to high quality hospice care for end of life services is preserved,” Reed said. We are extremely thankful to Reed for taking the first step in making hospice a priority on Capitol Hill.
